How to train a dog
First of all, I’m going to be 100% honest with you.
No matter what other dog trainer say, when it comes to training your dog things are not as easy as it seems.
There are so many factors involved that if you don’t have the right guidance chances are that you won’t get the obedience you want from your beloved pet.
And truth is you need to know secret rules that will allow you to effectively train your dog or puppy. Fortunately for you, in a few minutes you’ll finally learn how you can make your dog obey you blindly.

Look, here goes the FIRST basic rule that you need to know in order to make your puppy or dog obey you, and that is you becoming the leader of the pack.
Exactly, if you’re the master and the leader of the pack you’re going to tap into one of the most primitive instinct in dogs: the innate feeling of following the leader.
So, if you want your dog to listen to you, you should transform yourself and start commanding respect or otherwise you’ll always deal with a problematic dog.
Now, let me reveal the second rule (this is really important so pay attention.)
Harsh correction and punishments are useless, so avoid them like the plague. Beneficial relationships are not based in pain or punishment as so many dog trainers are trying to make you believe. At all.
Violence will never make your dog obey you; in fact, I believe that this unhealthy method decreases substantially the confidence and pure love your dog wants to share with you.
Relationships based on respect, love and tenderness are much more effective and I can assure that these elements are the way to go if you want an obedient and joyful dog!
Whether you want your dog to stop barking, to stop being aggressive with other dogs or even with people, to sit immediately after your command or even to enter on a cage, you should choose love and respect over punishment.
Now that you know two big factors that many people are not aware of, I’d like to share with you a few tips I’m sure that will help you in the process of training your dog/puppy.
3 Tips that will save your life when training your dog
1) Try to make your training sessions short and to the point – Dogs tend to lose focus easily, so try to be kind with them and keep your training sessions short.
2) Please, be realistic and don’t expect your dog to do miracles overnight. Dogs are not machines that can be programmed whenever we want. If you want to train your dog, you need to know that it will take some time, and that it won’t happen overnight.
3) Enjoy the time you spend with your dog – this is really important because training your dog must be something fun, not a boring or tedious obligation. There is a learning curve for your dog and it will be shortened drastically if you both have a great time.
Some of you might think that these advices are really basic and are based on common sense, but I can assure you that you would be surprised at the large number of inexperienced and amateur dog trainers that are omitting these basic concepts.
Don’t be like them.
